Another Lush haul - online purchase

I made my first purchase at Lush on Sunday, and I liked it so much I placed an order online. A write up of my visit to their store can be found HERE. It's a combined haul from that shopping trip.
I didn't get any samples while I was in the store which I was disappointed about as there is so many products that's Id love to try but cant afford to buy them all. So I decided that when I make an order online I would request a few.
Their delivery times were rather impressive. I placed the order at about 2.30PM on Thursday and when I got home from work yesterday (Friday) my parcel was already there. It was all packaged well and there was a small black paper bag with the samples I requested.

As you can see, I purchased a few bits. They are as follows,

Fairy Tail scrub
Snow Fairy Shower Gel 100g
Christmas Eve Bubble Bar
The Hair Doctor Hair Treatment
Volcano Foot Mask
Sugar Scrub Shower Scrub

All are available on their website www.lush.co.uk

I hope to try all of the items over the next few weeks and I will write a review of them once I have tried them all. If there is a specific one anyone would like to know about, feel free to let me know and I can do a smaller review on it asap.

Today's Haul and loosing my Lush Virginity

I've been shopping again, woohoo. The purpose of the trip was to get some Christmas gifts. which I did succeed in doing, but I did get a decent amount of things for me too, so I ended up with a few bags.

I received a Boots gift card for my birthday last week so we went there first, it was pretty busy and hot in there so I didn't get to look at much. I was hoping to get more than I did,  but as I didn't fancy fighting past everyone,I just got a few things.

The texture spray was part of a buy one get one half price and I was after a styling wax for my brother so I got this spray to make good use of the deal. I've never tried it before so I don't know how it will work with my hair. The nail varnishes are all by Barry M, they were also on an offer, which was 3 for 2. On the left is a Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Guava, and on the left is Matte Nail Paint in Vanilla, I picked these two as I try and pick colours which can be used all year round. Lastly at the top is just a clear all in one Basecoat, Topcoat and Nail Hardener.

Next I went to Primark. One of the bags in the pictures above contains gifts but I tucked them away so I didn't get a chance to take a picture, but they should be in my haul video if I ever manage to get it to upload. Some bits were from the sale racks and others are from the current range.

On the left are a few t-shirts, 2 are long one of which could actually be a dress its that long. The other 2 are shorter. In the middle are 7 pairs of tights in total. I want to try and wear some dresses and skirts this winter so tights are a must, and they are all different colours to liven the outfit up. Next to them is a peace belt. I actually thought it was a necklace as it was on the jewellery stand amongst the other necklaces, so that's how I'll wear it. There's a pair of red hot pants, not sure how I'll style them for autumn/winter, but at £2 I thought I may as well get them anyway. Below them is a white fluffy jumper, can't remember what what the actual feel of it is called.

These two items are my favourite things that I got from Primark, The jumper is really warm and cosy, and the 'necklace' adds that little bit of detail. doubt I'll ever wear it as a belt, so it will remain as a necklace to me.

Finally I went to Lush. I am no longer a Lush Virgin, YAY!
I've been on their website a few times lately and managed to hold off buying anything until I visited their store. I was a little bit disappointed as I wasn't able to get any free samples. There was a few products that I wanted to try but as I was getting a decent amount of bits anyway and couldn't afford to buy more. I was told they do offer samples but I guess on this occasion they didn't so I just picked up the bits I planned to buy. You can get all of these items on their website HERE.

The lady on the till was very friendly which is nice as some places they just throw things in the bag, so it was nice to get good service.

I got 5 things in the end, the Candy Mountain Bubble Bar wasn't on my to buy list but I thought I'd give it a go, but I may give it as a Christmas gift, I've not decided yet. I left it in the bag as it was very glittery and didn't want to get covered in it again. I originally went in to get the Popcorn Lip Scrub but the smell of the Bubblegum one was amazing so I got that instead. I'll have to make sure I don't eat it all instead of using it properly. I'm really looking forward to using all these products and hopefully I'll do a review on them soon.

I did film a video to show things better but it's corrupted somehow, so I may make a quick one again if I get time. I'll add it below if I manage to get it to work.

Youtube Haul Video - Sorry for the quality, I had to re-do it on my phone.

High Street Outfit Of The Day Primark/New Look

I was popping out the other day to do some errands and I decided to do and outfit of the day. I wasn't planning on seeing anybody so I didn't put too much effort into it, but I just wanted to give everyone an idea of how I put things together. My style varies depending on how I feel so it does change from day to day, so theres no theme as such.
My hair was a bit 'fluffy' that day and I'm wearing no make-up.

The jacket is a simple grey zip up hoodie from Primark which I got last year. The skinny jeans are also from Primark and should still be in store now, I believe they were £12. I picked up the t-shirt in New Look last week, it was reduced to £5 and was amongst their current range.

I got the scarf quite some time ago now, a few years at least, but it was from New Look. Its a large square scarf with a aztec style design, but I have folded it into a triangle to make more of a shoal style.

The trainers are wedge trainers from New Look which I got last year, I'm not sure if they still do them, but there are many of them about now.

Hope my casualness wasn't too scary for you all, and hopefully I will get some more OOTDs up soon depending on the weather. I was pretty lucky last Thursday as it was quite mild for Welsh weather.

My Style

I'm hoping to get a few outfit choices made and some hauls etc, but before I did I just wanted to say a little bit about my style. The items I pick are based on my personal option and not necessarily because they are the height of fashion. I do buy new clothes rather often so technically I am buying the latest styles, but the way I put them together may not be the way other people would.

I have my favourite items, and I try to look after them so they last me years, and I also buy pieces second hand as I don't have much money so I try to save where I can.

I'm all for people giving their opinion on my look, but I have vowed not to take bad comments to heart. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, including me, so if anybody doesn't like what I pick, then that's up to them and it won't change me.

AX Paris parcel

I was just about to get ready to go out, and there was a knock at the door and it was the postman. I was so pleased to see he this bright pink parcel from AX Paris in his arms.

I just love getting parcels. It's part of the reason I shop online so much.

Here is the contents of the pink bag,

The yellow one is a lace kick out skater dress Click here to go to their website and the black one is a chiffon lace cut out skater dress Click here to see it on their website. Both come in various different colours, and I'm tempted to get the kick out dress in another colour. The black on feels slightly smaller than the yellow one, but It should be ok. I have some shoes to go with the black one but I need to go shoe shopping to find some to go with the yellow one.

Ordered some items from AX Paris

I've been eyeing up some dresses on their website www.axparis.com for a very long time and I finally decided to buy the one I liked. To my surprise, it was on sale. The original colour I wanted wasn't on sale but I chose another colour which is a bit more summery but when I get round to doing an outfit of the day with it, I’ll add some darker bits to make it suitable for the coming party season. With the money I save plus a discount code, I managed to get a second dress on sale, so essentially I got 2 for the price of 1.

Stay tuned for an update and pictures/video
